Today we are launching our brand new website and if you are reading this article, you’ve come to the right place!
A new website, why? Here is what we had in mind when we started the project.
– Give a fresher look to the website – with a new design and new templates. We think our website should deliver information in a clear, consistent and concise way. We have rewritten some content and worked on modern, refreshed templates. We wanted to make sure important information is visible and clearly signposted.
– Improve user journey – we wanted to make sure information on our website is better organised, easy to find and clear. We also have updated the live chat plugin and are now Zopim which we absolutely love.
– A mobile-friendly site – a very important part of our website traffic comes from mobile devices, which means our website pages must be mobile friendly, especially our homepage, knowledge page (with training information) and contact us form. We have ensured that pages are easy to read on most screens (mobiles and tablets) and load quickly.
– A better integration of our social media channels – we want users to have a seamless experience of Harley Reed no matter where they come from or go to, which is why we have merged all our Facebook pages and are trying lots of new things on LinkedIn.
– Our website complies with our style guidelines and we have used more colours from our own colour palette – but the main colour remains green. We have worked on a creative design around a ‘blocks’ concept because we want to stand out.
